SPORTING FACILITIES

Sports
Hall
A 4 court badminton hall measuring 100ft x 60ft.
The hall can be used for a wide variety of sports, it is also
available for major concerts, plays dances, etc. |
Squash Courts
There are 2 squash courts with their own individual viewing balconies.
Solarium and Sauna Suite
The sauna consists of a 12 person sauna cabin. There are 2 sunbeds and
a rest area within the suite with direct access to the poolside.
| Swimming
Pool
The swimming pool measures 20 metres x 10 metres and incorporates
a learner bay (8 metres x 8 metres). Public swimming, instructional
classes, private swimming clubs, pool parties, disabled swimming,
etc are catered for. |

Gymnasiums
There are 2 large, well equipped gymnasiums which are available for
martial arts, gymnastic activities and for winter training sessions.

Fitness Suit
The hi-tech fitness suite includes state of the art LifeFitness
exercise bicycles, treadmills and stair-climbers for an efficient,
low impact workout. LifeFitness' remarkable new weight stack system
is also available for smooth training and rapid results. Our professional
and friendly staff are trained to understand your needs and to make

Astroturf
All weather floodlit pitch available for hockey and football.
Tennis courts and netball courts, 3 rugby pitches, 4 football
pitches, one grass hockey pitch and one cricket square. |

SWIMMING COURSES
Swimming Courses are held throughout the
year. A full range of classes are available for all levels of ability
and to allow progression. Children's classes are held for 3 to 5 year
olds, beginners, improvers and advanced swimming. Adult classes are
also held for beginners and improvers. Personal survival and life saving
classes are available for both adults and young people.

USERS' COMMITTEE
The Users' Committee welcomes all those
adults who use the Caldicot Leisure Centre and school buildings for
educational, leisure or recreational purposes. Each club or group is
invited to send a representative. Meetings are concerned with passing
on members' views to management and assisting in drawing up the programme
of events. Officers will be elected at the AGM which will be held in
November. All are welcome to attend. Please ring 01291 426850 for more
