and Multi Media MappingCaldicot is situated in the south-east corner of South Wales in the County of Monmouthshire, roughly halfway between the towns of Chepstow and Newport on the B4245 road. It is a compact town close to the banks of the River Severn which serves as the southern boundary with the New Severn Bridge and M4 Motorway running along side the River it now makes Caldicot the new gateway into Wales. The access point from the M4 Motorway is at Magor junction 23A. The northern boundary is the M48 Motorway with an access point at Chepstow gentian 2. Caldicot is also situated between to major cites Cardiff the Capitol of Wales appox 24 miles to the west and Bristol a major English city appox 24 miles to the east.

Caldicot as it own railway station, trains stop at regular intervals the line is from Birmingham in the north through to West Wales. Only a mile away is another station Severn Tunnel Junction, the trains stop at regular intervals the line is from London in the east, south coast towns and West Wales. Caldicot has a very good bus service, hourly services from Bristol through to Newport stopping at Chepstow and and the villages on route. The National Bus Services and Airport Bus Services stop at Chepstow bus station or Newport Bus station.
