Caldicot Castle

Glenice Dallow, our Chairman, in blue and seated, is seen here with some of our past Chairmen and Special Guests that have helped and worked with our U3A.

As part of the celebrations in 2005 to mark the 10th Anniversary of Caldicot and District U3A a seat has been purchased for Caldicot Castle, suitably inscribed with wording to mark the occasion.

A pageant is also being prepared by members from our various groups and being overseen by our drama group. It is to be performed on the 19th May at our monthly meeting in the choir hall.

A glossy magazine to mark the occasion is also in the process of being prepared by our diary editor and computer group.

Anniversary cake (in the oven)

Glenice Dallow our chairman, surrounded by all our past Chairmen, is seen cutting our 10th Anniversary cake at the end of a successful pageant, which was acted out by members from every group in celebration of our anniversary.

Over 150 of our members attended our party, where tea and cake was served.

Art convenor Stella Foster is seen here with ladies from our art group and yours truly, also a member of the art group and I must emphasise, I wish I was as good at painting as the artist I was taking-off, for our 10th Anniversary pageant 2005.
