Over the past few months some of the Caldicot & District U3A walkers have been installing gates on local footpaths. The walking group is keen to open up local footpaths to people with minor disabilities, by removing barriers such as stiles. Money was raised by holding raffles and events, and with the full co-operation of the local authority, were able to finance and install four gates.
